Turf Knight Terms and Conditions of Service
Welcome to Turf Knight! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including lawn care, turf installation and maintenance, landscaping, and related outdoor property services provided by Turf Knight, operating out of 2764 Hollybrook Ln, Orange Park, FL 32073, US. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging Turf Knight for any service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use or engage our services. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services.
2. Services Provided
Turf Knight offers a range of outdoor property services for residential and commercial clients in the Orange Park and greater Jacksonville, FL areas, including but not limited to:
- Lawn mowing, edging, and trimming
- Sod and turf installation
- Lawn maintenance, including fertilization and pest control
- Property cleanup and debris removal
- Basic landscaping support and consulting
All services will be performed in a professional manner, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques. Service details and project specifics will be outlined in a separate service agreement or estimate provided to the client.
3. Estimates and Pricing
Turf Knight provides free estimates for all projects. These estimates are based on the information provided by the client and an on-site assessment when deemed necessary. While every effort is made to provide accurate estimates, the final cost may vary based on unforeseen conditions, changes in project scope, or material costs. Any significant changes impacting the price will be communicated to the client for approval before proceeding.
Payment terms, including deposit requirements and schedule, will be specified in the individual service agreement or invoice.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing clear and accurate instructions regarding the desired services.
- Ensuring clear access to the property and areas where services are to be performed.
- Removing any obstacles or hazards from the service area prior to our arrival (e.g., toys, pet waste, loose hoses).
- Notifying Turf Knight of any special requirements or concerns regarding their property (e.g., delicate plants, buried irrigation lines).
- Making timely payments as per the agreed-upon terms.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Clients are requested to provide at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of services to avoid potential charges. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee. Specific cancellation policies related to larger projects or material orders will be detailed in the respective service agreement.
6. Warranty and Guarantees
Turf Knight strives for complete customer satisfaction. We guarantee our workmanship for a reasonable period following service completion, typically 30 days for routine maintenance and up to 90 days for new installations such as sod, subject to proper client care and maintenance. This warranty does not cover issues arising from client neglect, acts of nature, or damage caused by third parties. Detailed warranty information for specific materials or installations will be provided upon request.
7. Limitation of Liability
Turf Knight will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing services. However, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; (iii) any content obtained from the services; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage. Our total liability to you for any damages shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Turf Knight for the specific service from which the liability arose.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding relating to the services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Duval County, Florida.
9. Changes to Terms
Turf Knight reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
